Every once in a while you should clean out FloristWare Back Up files that are no longer needed and to recover hard disk space.

Tips

You should retain a copy of the last day of every month on some kind of portable medium (CD-R, DVD-R, portable hard drive, USB/flash drive, etc.) offsite. All other files can be removed safely.

It is very important you make sure you are deleting only backup files. Deleting any other FloristWare files can cause issues with the operation of your system.

Details

Back-ups give us the ability to revert to an older version of your date file. This is important because should your current working file ever become damaged we will need to do just that - go back to a version we know is good.

Over time back-up files can start to take up a lot of space on your hard disk and it becomes necessary to archive and delete back up files that you no longer need.
